#02 Cardio exercise

What is Cardio exercise?  
Many people have ask me how i slim down and i always answer doing "hardcore cardio".

Then there will give me the look.. 

Yeah, i know.. I was like that too when i first started. (Motivation from bf to start going to the gym.)
I didn't know where to start and what was suitable for my body.
I was so in the dark.. 

Just want to educate you on what is Cardio.
This is my understanding: 
Cardio workout is a type of workout that will accelerate your heart rate, so that your heart will beat faster.
By beating faster, oxygen will be able to transmit to your whole body. 
Therefore, fats in your body will be able to burn. 
& it also keeps your metabolic rate active so that even when your not exercising,
 your body is still burning fats..
Awesome right?! O.O

This is actually my secret to striping away my layer of fats that i have !


It's a Cardio programme that will  give you "strength, power, resistance, and ab and core training moves. No equipment or weights needed. Just the will to get the hardest body you’ve ever had."

He randomly was researching ways on how to slim down ( for me )..
And came across this in Youtube. 

It's a 2 months Cardio programme that will kick you in the butt (literally)..
I have been going to the gym for 2 hours before founding out this programme.
& when i started this, going to the gym to do cardio is such a waste of my time. 
I can do it for 45 mins, in the my own house !
Without any equipment !

Even after completing my 2 months of being Insane ! 
I still continue doing it, but maybe about 3-4 times a week.

I have introduced it to many of my friends.
So i guess i wanted to share it with you as well..
If you want to have a fit body, you gotta work for it!

I was too tired to pose properly for the camera when it came to the circuit training !

Jogging on the spot (Main cardio exercise)

This is called the "Straight arm jacks"

This is actually suppose to be "Butt Kicks"
your legs are suppose to come all the way to your butt..
(I know didn't do a great job !)

This workout is called : " Switch kicks"
Basically you're suppose to kick and jump to switch to the other leg and kick.
*Try to bring your leg up to a 90 degrees angle
(I'm still working towards that.. !)

** please excuse my background. house kinda messy !

BTW, & i also want to share about my pants
which i bought from Groupon the brand is called, Zaggora
It is said that : "Zaggora Hotwear burned 9.7% more 
calories than subjects in standard exercise clothing during 30 minutes of exercise"
I'm not sure how true is it, but every time i wear it i will sweat 10 times more than i usually do..

So don't be lazy and start your workout today !!

Fiona's 21st Birthday.

Long overdue post. Celebrated one of my close friend's birthday. She is the smallest cutest girl in our group.. & she's turning 21 this year.
Happy 21st birthday, Babe.
Hope you really enjoyed yourself that day.. ;D

Want to do a review about the restaurant that we went .
It's a Japanese BBQ Buffet Restaurant call, Daidomon.

First time going to a Japanese BBQ restaurant.
There is only one outlet in Malaysia which is in Great Eastern Mall, In Jalan Ampang. (Nearby KLCC)

O.O ! uncle inside the pic is a Japanese..
Japanese eating Japanese food in Malaysia? 
Hahahahaha !

There are buffet like food and there is an unlimited ala cart food that you can order. 
Expect for the scallop. Only 2 per person ! T.T
hahahahahha... yup. sad right !

But the overall food was good & i really enjoy the environment of the restaurant.
(Although it's a bit orange-y)


then there was this dish.. I think it's a sashimi beef..
(FYI, got the pic from the internet.)
I didn't know that you can eat beef raw ?! O.O
Sashimi beef.. so surprise. but i only tasted a little.. 
Couldn't stand that it was so raw and red, so i cooked it. hahah..


After eating, it's time to do some celebrating..

I ask her to give us a happier smile.. :D

#01 Stronger Core

Greetings ! 
Having a spectacular morning !
Finally had the 11 hours of sleep that i needed so badly.
Been having scary Panda Eyes, looking like Panda, Ju-On version..

I have been receiving a few questions from others how did i lose weight..

& receive the world's most TOUCHING COMMENT !
OMG ! I'm tearing now, THANK YOU SO MUCH !
 never ever believe someone would send me something like this !

Feeling so boost with motivation !
I decided to do 2 simple workout exercises that will help strengthen and tighten your core.
(FYI : Core is your tummy area)
Pls Note : I'm still newbie at this. This methods worked for me, I hope it will work for you. :D

1st Workout 

Step 1 : Planking
Note: *Keep your body straight, pulling in your belly button inwards
This workout will help strengthen your core & keeps your spine stable & straight.
So that you will have a good posture.
1 set = planking for 60 sec 
& then rest for 30 secs and continue..
I usually will do 3 set.

Step 2 : Lift your knee to touch your opposite side of your elbow. 
 4 sets of 15 reps = which means that,
In 1 set, I will lift my knee to my opposite elbow (according to pic) 
for 15 times. and then rest for 30 secs.. and repeating it again for another 3 more sets. 

(Right knee to left elbow)

(Left knee to right elbow.)
*If you are more flexible than I am, try to push yourself so you can touch your elbow.

2nd Workout 

Step 1 : prepare a yoga mat.
*Doing sit up makes my belly look huge ! hahaha..
Whatever la, just really hope you guys will learn something from this.

Step 2 : Bring your body to a sit up position.
Planking with this sit up position. Try your best to focus on your core.
this is also another way to strengthen your core !
Similar with the other planking workout,
I did 3 sets (1 set = 60 secs)
(I hate that my tummy is bulging !!)
*It's normal if your body shake violently ! hahha

Step 3 : Bicycle
Use your elbow to touch your opposite knee. Your legs are like cycling in mid air.
Like this :

(left elbow to right knee)
(HAHA ! I was shaking like mad when i did this !... i still need more practice !)

 (right elbow to left knee)
*If you're strong enough, try to lift your both legs off the floor.

Will work harder on my core, hopefully next time you will see 6 packs ! hahaha

& Stop giving excuses to yourself !
